I think this song is about mass media basiclly running peoples lives
The chorus is saying how someone can get tired of the media controling everything and the second part of the song is how the media can conrol our minds and how we think. If the media dosent like a leader, a teacher (preacher), an activist or a certain aspect of our culture they can completely destroy it

i think that he was in a relationship and messed up BIG TIME. And they still want to be together but because of what i think is a drug addiction its difficult for them to be with one another. He is trying so hard to make himself better but he dosen't know if he can.

In my opinion and my current additude i think that this song is about humanity
when 2-d first starts he could be talking a civilization falling and and how we have no choice but to run and how our dreams are gone so we basicly have to kiss them good bye
the chorus could have many meanings.First it could be a message to the listener. To take things in stride no matter what it may be broken heart, pain, insults whatever. Then he could be talking about how love can get you thru
Second, it could follow what i said before about civilization. We might have one piece left around a windmill and that might be our only life line so it must turn forever. How we have to adapt to whatever comes our way and find love to help is do that. Then at the last part "is everybody in" he could be talking about a up coming danger whatever it may be
when the rap starts that could be about government when he says " these hazmats" how there are not helping and that they should just stop because we are just fine on our own
