i love this song it is truly excelent. i especialy like how it shows that no matter who the person is or what social class they are none of them are truly happy. they all gather in this bar drinking and getting along as an escape from the real world where no one is ever truly happy |

i feel that this song is another tragic outline of the faulty human condition. the song starts out with an innocent kid bragging about how he can do something great. that pride is contined along through his life as he continues to do amazing things. this just adds to his pride and makes him believe that what he does is right. then he gets elected, which just boosts his pride tenfold. He looks around the world and sees how bad it became and they feel that the only way to fix it is by drastic reform. this goes out of controll and he never realizes the monster that he has become because of all that stuped pride that he has built up over his life.
