Other than the fact that it's actually about having a phone plan where Tegan could only make long distance calls after 9, It really has no other meaning to me. Even when I heard it the first time and not knowing the true meaning, I couldn't really decide what I thought it was about. But I felt some sorta deep emotions through the music, and they really got to me. Because at first the song sounds kinda dark, with the chords and everything. But it pretty much evolves you know, at the end it's turns into something a little bit more upbeat and happy. Maybe the word I'm looking for is relief. By the end of the song, Tegan is relieved that she could FINALLY make that long distance phone call lol. But I love this song and it's lyrics. Gives me chills. |

This has got to be one of the stupidest NoFX songs I've ever heard. 1) Mike lyrically terrorizes of one of my favorite atrists for being a lesbian.. are you serious? What a total dick! He's fat for god sakes. 2) He can't even write a decent song anymore. They all sound exactly the same now. That's the point in one's career when it starts going all downhill. Atleast Tegan and Sara are both talented at what they do and can atleast write music that doesn't repeat itself.. over and over and over and over. In my opinion.
