One thing I notice is that at the end of the bridge are those words "the mother, the father the daughter" with no son, but "elementary son" is used at the end of one of the verses. This song could be about Anthony changing from his old personality, a relationship, or creationism vs. evolution. The "wet sand" metaphor I think is referring to being able to change, mature, learn, and still leaving an effect, or print (metaphorically) but also letting it be lost or reformed. |
