I think it's about a sexually abusive father (never wanted that intimacy). I'm sorry to point this out, but I think the line "And That I Can't Stand You Make Me Sick" is referring to anal sex so intense that the poor child can't walk. It's making a mash out of 3 phrases: 1. And that I can't stand- 2. I can't stand you. 3. You make me sick. Sadly, I'm 100% positive that this song is about sexual abuse of a son by his father. Schtill... Song's metal as fuck \,,/ |

I always attributed these lyrics to one of the mainstays of thrash metal: Disrespecting authority. Specifically, parents. I get so pissed off at my dad when I listen to this. |

This is only my interpretation, and what i hear when i listen to this song. "Once a day falling on the trail walking blind Trade nothing descretion in low, It's hard to wait taking yourself in honor I should know how low I can go" To me, this bit is talking about a friend, girl, or spouse who disapproves of a habit. "Before I go high, I get very down and I'll be going after it, again and again" Saying he only indulges when he's upset. "You know I can't go the other way without being trashed, lost, and strungout" Cant kick his habit without feeling shitty, maybe about sexuality and oppression. "When together try something, going back to the question," a friend, lover, family, etc. who disapproves. "Whats to coming out?" definitely about sexuality. "Maybe I should've could've trashed my life But for that I'm gonna turn to you" Telling someone about your problem, only to have them turn on you and reveal it to everyone. "And the trashed people askin' my head until I sweat Now tell me what the fuck to do!" Not too sure about this part, maybe about drunk/"trashed" friends... "One day I gettin to the point where I ain't gonna do," one day you'll get to the point where you will either be so fucked you don't care, or you kick your habit. "Nothing but try to be strungout on you" worrying what your confidant thinks, and everyone else. "You let me drown way deep down below" alcohol addiction, possibly. "Then you know me, for I get very down" they know you've been indulging, because you're down on yourself/depressed/guilty. maybe about sexuality. "Up to the next you tell me "fucking whore" And I'll be going after it, before I go!" Leaving a girl and going right onto the next, said ex is pissed. This song describes my life from beginning to end. When i hear it, i get furious, then depressed, then all hyper. Keep in mind, this is just what i hear in this song. |
