that part is talking about people not politicians. the rest of that lyric makes it clear. "One after another, nobody stands behind the ones they have chosen." Indicating that one person starts it then another and another etc. |

the name came from the novel, "The Devil Wears Prada". Which actually has nothing to do with the devil or anti-materialism. But they thought thats what it meant and they all really liked the name. So thats what they named the band. After they actually read the book, they wanted to change the name because they didnt like it anymore but by this time they were already known so they decided not to. No one in the band actually likes the name. mike said so in an AP mag interview lol but I mean, when they named the band, they had an anti-materialistic image in mind and not an image of a college grad who's looking for a job and finds one at a fashion industry but her boss ends up being the devil and incidently wears prada. haha its the thought that counts :) |
