I have been a Conor fan for many many, years now and this has to be my favorite song of his. I love how it starts so simple and becomes so EPIC at the end. The lyrics to me, are an artful way to describe the life/death symmetry. Something dies. Something is born. |

I find the meaning of this song super simple. Hes doing mundane things we all must do mindlessly (That is my exact morning actually, except watching the weather channel insead of the newspaper). He is very simply singing the "Live each day as if it were your last" quote in a different way. Enjoy life and such and such. |
