I think this song may be about a girl leaving him, and him being alone cause it says " With all I am I stand alone in fields that I have grown But if there's nothing left to hold" meaing she left him alone and now he has nothing to hold, and when he says "Let the angels take a soul" he's meaning his cause he has nothing left so pretty much no reason to live. that's just my guess on this song. but i could be wrong. :) anyways great song. |
