Skillet – Always The Same Lyrics 15 years ago
So strange listening to this after becoming a fan only after Collide. I've gotten to know them as a heavy metal group and this is techno. They're my favorite band so I figured I should get to know all the albums, even the techno so I found the album Alien Youth and I must say, it is odd listening to Cooper sounding like this, and it's strange to have skillet without screaming guitar and gut wrenching drums, but I like it! Just goes to show, Skillet can rock whatever genre of music they go into!!!!!

Oomph! – On Course Lyrics 15 years ago
I love this song! The German Version has a lot more feeling in it, but this is still beautiful! It's like trying to get back to what he once knew himself to be, only after coming to the verge of death to realize it! Pure poetry!

Tokio Hotel – Humanoid Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is about a robotic soul realizing that it's on autopilot. When they say "give me life, give me air" that's like they are begging to be set free from their lives. Like they want a new beggining because they realize that they're hardly human! Almost like a cry for help for something to show they the meaning to keep on living that maybe the whole world is full of humanoids.

John Mark McMillan – How He Loves Lyrics 15 years ago
This song is so surreal. I've heard every version just about but the original. I'm used to D.C.B and when I listened to this, it brought tears to my eyes to hear such raw emotion pouring like water from this man's soul. It's so true, God loves us. I've dealt with a friend's death and the first thing you think is "God why me? Why now?" You think about God. You blame God for all your troubles, but I know from experience that when you realize just how beautiful He is, you are flattened to earth and humbled. I remember when I realized that God really does love us I was LEVELED! It was such an amazing thing to know that he loves us as sinners and terrible people, but he loves up!

I think the guy's partially on a drug trip and falling in love. . . so basically one in the same :)

Tokio Hotel – Hey You Lyrics 15 years ago
I think it's talking about how he's getting criticism for being different in the music, and that he, or anyone shouldn't be afraid of speaking out if they believe in it. I think that the chorus is saying that you should speak out as loud as you can if you really believe in something, not just whispering quietly, but yelling it as loud as you can!

Simply me is right. It does pretty much say that Jason doesn't understand how, if they both started with nothing in their lives, and tried to work their way up, how could they have gone such different paths, one suicide. And the "now we're all out here wasting away" bit basically means that even though they both had different routes, starting with nothing, because of the suicide, they're both pretty much dying from the inside out here.
It seems like Jason is really hurting here, and i can relate. My uncle killed himself when i was younger and now that i hear this song, it really hits me, because that's the way i feel. when i hear the song and i really pay attention to the lyrics, i cry my heart out, and yeah. . . i no what he means when he screams that part. . . its just like that for me too. . .

Tokio Hotel – On The Edge Lyrics 15 years ago
To me, the song is saying a whole lot of things. first, yeah the cuttin part is obvious, but you can't really understand the song unless you've been through it. I have been through a lot, and its saying that there's someone there she knows, but she's took numb from her depression to realize how much someone cares about her. She tries to shut everyone out and just forget by getting closer to the edge, (cutting) and that's an escape for a lot of people, and in the song its hers. Each time she cuts herself, its like a drug and she's eager for the sensation. . . its like her drug, and she's dying from it.

Tokio Hotel – By Your Side Lyrics 15 years ago
When I hear this song, I cry. I reminds me of my best friend who committed suicide. I wish I could have told this to him, maybe things would have been different if he had heard this from me. I don't know. But when I hear this song, I'm so calm and secure and I feel as if I'm back with him. . . . I miss him so much

Tokio Hotel – Automatic Lyrics 16 years ago
First off, not what I expected from TH, but I really liked the song when I first heard it. You really have to listen to get the chorus right though. Bill is basically saying that someone clearly is emotionless, robotic, and that he knows he's wasting his time with whoever. You really have to watch the video to get the full impact of lyric and meaning. Bill's amazing with his vocals in this piece.

Tokio Hotel – Forever Now Lyrics 16 years ago
It's pretty obvious, isn't it? I mean, the guy is clearly obsessing over a girl he's lost/loosing, but both of them are relutant to go, the typical lines, I'm always there with you, blah blah blah. . . . not their best song.
