thats what i thought at first place too :) when he is talking about the flower and "returning it to the dirt" i think he means that its not to late to save the world if we just dont remove trees and think about how we can get our resources the most nature friendly way as possible. or something like that xD im not that good at explaining things in English xD |

when i hear this song im thinking tht it means tht no matter what problems we will get into "a crack in the surface" there will always be a solution "but its just a crack in the surface a flaw in the plans we made together almost buried in the sand". with that line i think he is trying to say that no matter how good we plan things... it will never go straight after the plans :)
total meaning: dont ever give up no matter how hopeless it seems :) reply if u understand it that way too. remember songs can mean anything ;) each person gets each meaning of it. and RA forever! |

i liked their old songs better too... but i think its good that they always change their style so all their songs doesnt sound the same. although Rise against will never become boring :) |

i agree but i think when he sing pull this plug let me breath on my own im finally free i think it means tht he just got the drug and now can relax "let me breath on my own im finally free". because before he got the drug he was so desperate to get it.
but then again music can mean whatever u want it to mean. but this song is supposed to be about junkies im pretty sure... :) sorry for my bad english |

what does elective amnesia means? xD cause when i translate elective to my language it just becomes another word i dont understand "elektiv" xD can some1 please explain it to me using plenty of words? :)
