i love how songs bring people together. my friend also committed suicide, but he hung himself. and i can relate to those feelings of thinking what you could have done to stop it. its crazy to think that someone else is listening to this song, feeling the same emotions that i'm feeling. |

I grew up in a small, midwest town like christofer. I dont think that he was born miserable. He just was raised in a town that he wants to escape from. I get this same feeling all the time... like this town is too small for me. I will go crazy if i live here one more day. "And I saw the look in my brother's eyes When I told him I was leaving, he couldn't help but despise me- He's wanted out his whole life." and "And I'll beg and I'll beg- I'm down on my knees. Mama, oh Mama, Let me please leave. I plead for relief." He needs to leave b/c the town he was raised in will not take him anywhere in life. But his family tries to keep him there. They dont want him to leave. But he has too. this is such a great song and i relate to it so much. |
