| @[uponhereyes:3192] I think you're absolutely right. It was hard to keep listening to this album after hearing these lyrics. :( | |

"Sanity is a full time job in a world that's always changing." I think this is a reference to the Bad Religion song "Sanity" which contains the exact same line. |

I think this song is depicting a dystopic city where everything is divided into "areas", possibly based on classes/castes. By the way, "Brahms & Liszt" is cockney rhyming slang for drunk (pissed). |

here's a page for Ed Edge: http://www.myspace.com/ededge seeing as he's friends with the guitarist for HORSE, there's a HORSE video up, and he looks like the merch guy, i think this song is about him. |

i wonder if this song is about their merch guy who's always at their shows. The song has prominent triangle in it and the merch guy sometimes plays triangle (sometimes dressed as an egg or pizza) with them live. Also this line: "golden heart and black hands A human male. He's just a man." If i remember correctly, I think the merch guy is black, so that kinda supports it too. I could be wrong but it seems like a thank you to that guy. |
