| Oh hey those are some good points. I agree with you on most of that, tho i think the song is about more then just losing her virginity. I think its about her having some dreams of meeting the perfect guy and falling in love and se felt she had done that but realized afterwards it was a mistake. | |

I think that "White houses" is her innocence, because the color white is pure, untainted, when you lose your virginity, in MANY religions you become tainted, and un-pure. That is also why when you get married you where a white dress, symbol of being pure. Now the next thing i am about to say is not meant to be raciest at all. Now the color black is a symbol for un-pure and tainted, that is why goth people are often looked down on by elderly people. My take on the whole song: long story short, I think Its done in the eyes of a 15 year old girl, who is started to grow up but does it way to fast, and while its happening she does not feel anything is wrong however when it was all said and done, she realized that it was a mistake. I feel that this song has a message that is saying wait until your older to start having sex, and other things. |
