Now I don't know much about drugs except for what I learned in Health class and watching Scarface the one time, but I always thought that the second verse was referring to cocaine. "Snow" is a slang term for the drug and razor blades are often used to crush it/spread it into lines for sniffing. With the addition of the "hammers and needles" (heroin, etc.) line, I think it's obvious this song is about someone overcoming a drug addiction (though it can be applied to other situations). Just my two cents. |

Alright, I don't mean to pick on you or anything, but you've stated several times now that this album was written almost entirely by "one of the guitarists". This isn't true. I have the album booklet in my lap right now and it reads: "All songs written by (L. Sturm, J.Culpepper, S. Bhattacharya, J. Hartmann, P. Seals)"...in other words, the entire band contributes to the songwriting. I'm not sure where you're getting your information. |

Yes, the album booklet reads: "All songs written by (L. Sturm, J.Culpepper, S. Bhattacharya, J. Hartmann, P. Seals)". I'm not sure what album Astyanax is looking at. Lacey herself has also said that she began writing this the night her now husband proposed to her, and I see no reason why would lie about that. |
