I took the "MONA LISA" line to mean that the sin lies with the figure crawling on their elbows, the once "highest art" (another translation, this one is a bit funky). That is to say, the fault is with those who allow themselves to be corrupted, rather than those who corrupt them. |

I think the song is about a man whose mother and sister were both addicted to drugs (the white ocean). The sister was selling her body to support her habit, and ended up getting pregnant. She had the kid, and was eventually killed by one of her clients. The same thing had most likely happened to their mother. The "drug addiction" line makes this pretty clear, and, as someone mentioned before, Kyo sometimes acts like he's injecting something into his arm where he'd normally say "white ocean". The rest of the song is fairly obvious. |
