In any way, a very good song.
(P.S. Does anyone besides me think this song is similar to "Christie Road," another great cut from Kerplunk?)

Very good song off of a very good album that I just recently bought.
I agree: It is about a person wanting to stay young and the people around him are maturing.
I think the people around him just want him to grow up, which seems to me like the meaning of the line "But when you think of me, do you fill your head with schemes...," the schemes being ways that the people try to get the person to mature. |

I remember watching this on Fuse, I believe, a long time ago, maybe a few years, when I was addicted to Fuse. Later on, I forgot about this song and the video until I heard a piece of it today...
I was walking in the kitchen and I saw my mom was watching "Grey's Anatomy." It was a party, and this song was playing.
I immediately looked it up and saw the video and it brought back so many memories. |

ZombieBeels, those two lyrics are correct. They appear in the lyrics booklet almost vertabim. (The only mistake is "because," which is spelled "cuz" in the booklet, but that's all.) |
