I love the line "Never fall in love with potential, cause you can't see with your own eyes". I think this explains something everyone does, which is get hopeful when we meet someone new. We're so ready to not be alone that if a person even remotely resembles what we want, we're willing to already fall in love with them (their potential) before we even know for sure. |
