well i think this song "keep you" is about a woman who is treated like dirt by her man. She had a guy that was very interested in her and it made her feel good about herself but she was still in love with her man. She can't leave him because she loves him so much but she knows the way he treats her is killing her. I watched the video and this help with my interpretation. also some of my own history may have influenced my take on it. She wants him to disappear so she can start living again yet she can't bring herself to leave him |
