I hate it how everyone get's so angry at one another over the meaning of this song. We all have different interpretations don't we? I think people need to accept that.
I personally don't agree that it has to do with religion, but I guess I'm saying that because I'm not a very religious person. Without fully analysing the lyrics, when I listen to this I believe it is a love song. "You're all I want, you're all I need. You're everything." Although that could be addressing God, I see it as more of a guy talking to a girl he is in love with. |

I think it's about a guy who's girlfriend has overdosed on drugs. It's a hard one as I honestly think some of the lines are metaphoric and could have a completely different meaning on what has been explicitly said. |

This is a song I really relate to. It's obviously about a person suffering severe emotional or physical pain and just wants to end it all. The person is asking the pain and anguish they are feeling to 'let go of them;' basically stating that they are ready to die and to stop hurting. They would rather die than live in a world where they are slowly suffering. They 'have found the perfect end' and wish to be carried to into 'heavens arms.' Once they enter heaven; they feel nothing anymore; the agony has gone.
