Probably not what it's actually about, but to me, this song (mostly the chorus) reminds me of my ex-girlfriend. She was very depressed and suicidal a lot of the time, and I was the one who had to talk her out of it. "What can I do to make you see you're guilty? What can I do to make you see you're wanted?" - This reminds me of the conflicting feelings I had about her, sometimes I felt so angry at her for wanting to kill herself despite knowing that I loved her so much, and sometimes I just desperately wanted to show her how much I wanted her to stay. It really did feel like I was being suffocated whenever she talked about wanting to kill herself, because it was so overwhelming, just the thought that I might lose her and I had no control over it whatsoever. It was as though I was being crushed by desperation and despair, and I couldn't breathe because of it. |

Also, I absolutely love this song, and I really don't understand why it wasn't included on the album. After all, out of all the songs I've heard so far it's definitely the one that fits in best with the whole story of the Killjoys. |

I might be wrong, but I thought the lyrics to the chorus were: "This ain't a party, Get off the dancefloor, You wanna get down, I want a gang war." That's what NME says anyway! XD I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW ALBUM!!! They'd better tell us the release date soon or I'll go mad! |
