I think the meaning of the song is pretty straight forward. Basically, the message is saying it is better to be together with someone rather than alone. It's better to have that one person to turn to in the bed and kiss goodnight, someone to cuddle with, etc. I think the writer had plenty of relationships before and was able to put them in the past. But this particular one is causing him to question that. "Maybe it's true, that I can't live without you. Maybe two is better than one." The key word is maybe. Maybe it's true after all. |

I think it is a Christian song. I feel like the Martin (lead singer/songwriter) is talking kind of how he strayed away from faith without really realizing it. I think a lot of us do. kind of take things for granted. I think he must have had an event take place in his life that made him really think about life and finally really understand the pattern of life. |
