| I think it is "always causin' static" not "problem-scatic" and maybe "peggy sue is in the can" not "and soon sittin on the can". Also killer song, that riff is sooo good. | |

I agree that it may be about someone he used to love but I think it is more about her personal journey understanding the passing of time and the fear of death. "Pussyfooting setting sun, make a wish that weighs a tonne, there are no handles for you to hold, and no understanding where it goes" She makes a wish to the setting sun for more time/time to slow because she can't hold onto it. "Jealousy in technicolour, fear by name, love by numbers street lamp amber, wanderlust pile in a blunderbus" ??? "She looks as if she's blowing a kiss at me and suddenly the sky is a SCHISM (splitting or parting) sitting on the floor with a tamborine, crushing up a bundle of love, don't take it so personally, you're not the only one that time has got it in for honey, that's where you're wrong" They were in love and and would talk while playing music and doing drugs? about time and he's telling her that were all in it together, the fight against time... A little fuzzy but that's what I get from it, great track though, love the guitar interludes. |

| good lord awesome song, has that great almost ramones punk/pop vibe with a more recent atlas sound lyrical theme. Very cryptic but seems like its a strong friendship/love affair with someone that really gives him peace until... | |

ok slight correction, doesn't really matter but I think it goes "Warm ME and..." other than that maybe second best song on the record, and really seems to capture the deerhunter aesthetic I think it is kind of about how some things you feel are just wrong and meaningless but we are in that time period where it is the norm and there is no other opinion of it so you can't really fully grasp the absoluteness of it, especially in "all ive seen try to describe it in the time of all of it" and then maybe feeling like doing something about it like if you warm me up to it I might something... Not sure about the last verse but I like how the music seems to create this awakening that it will all be ok and we must do the best at exsisting in our own time regarless of the world around us we are dealt at birth. |
