I also agree with this, although, I see the masquerade ball part, as she's one of the masked dancer's, and he can't compare to one of the male dancers, [There'll be the king of hearts and you're the queen of spades / "All the right friends in all the right places (As when they're dancing, they are all in line. .. I dunno.)] And, "That is he thinks that even though his girlfriend thinks that their relationship is getting better ("And the grass is getting greener each day/I know things are looking up") when in fact he knows it's falling apart ( "but soon they'll take us down.")" Much agreed. |

Yeah, I basically agree. But I don't know about popularity. I think she's looking at someone who's "better" than he is.. Man. This is so sad, every time I read it I feel bad. Lol. |
