Mralphabetomofo no if we all love God does nothing but how loving God should cause us to react to his love for us that changes things, for we no longer live by our own selfisness but become selfless as he was selfless for us. Yeah many people have killed in the name of God but not for God because what the God of the bible states is for us to love out neighbor as our self and to be servants on this earth now you tell me if the crusades line up with that or with the fact that people are selfish and they saw the holy land as a land grab and a chance to feel good about themselves. I don't understand your argument, in fact if we are the only ones in the universe so far and God has made the rest it says in the bible that he maid all of creation that people may know his glory. I 100% agree with you with the problems with our society except for one thing. First off i'm a Christian but Christianity isn't a religion religions have a set way of doing things, things that make you "aware" of your spirituality, the thing is Christianity is a relationship not a bunch of does and don't it's not supposed to be about conforming if you have a bible read psalm 138 and tell me if that sounds like were all supposed to be one person. The problem with our society is were valuing the wrong things in society people are so bent on consumerism and what they can get and do for themselves we've lost any sense of community we maybe once had. With such a high importance on self it makes it impossible for love and unity to exist amongst people. Would you not agree if you knew you had someone who really cared for you out there and was willing to do anything for you that your mindset would, change. And i can say that person is Jesus(which it is) but i'll just sound like i'm preaching so all i'm asking you to consider is that you need to look into what it means to be Christians before you write it off as something that just makes people mindlessly follow it, and that it encourages people to help shape the world into what it's supposed to be where people place other above themselves and have relationship with the God of the universe who loves them. I don't expect to convert you by this that'd stupid on my part, but just a hope that you will see hope and instead of blaming things on why the worlds so shitty do something about it.
