Or you can learn a lesson from the torment our lives consist of. No matter how empty your soul may be, there is always a chance to fill it with whatever beauty we can create for ourselves. I believe this song is relaying a messege to not conform to the ideas of any faith. Instead live a life free of any expectations of morality, and find it within yourself rather than the preachings of another man. In the song faith is regarded as a evil thing that will destroy you eventually. Faith could trun you into a monster lacking any sense of humanity, leaving you to feed on and corrupt those who do not follow. "dismembered me with no memory life, it just aint quite the same when you are feasting on my brain you've gone insane now there's no pain" The victim is left without a memory of what life was like before he/she was converted, to reduce a relization of the evils within the church. Being attacked by a zombie eating away at what you used to value within your mind makes life dull. the zombie has ravaged through mind and soul of the person leaving them numb to anything else. |
