| I agree with Frenzy54, the band took a common theme and did something different with it. Break up songs are lame but Hurt did it in a new creative way that turned out to be an amazing rock song. | |

Amazing song by an amazing band. The lyrics from the second line of the first verse are "You spend all your money and die." I think the song makes the most sense when it's compared to a relationship. The first verse is probably a conversation J. Loren Wince had with himself after ending the relationship and it best describes how he feels about it. The lyrics, "We finish and wish we could start again," tell how he ended the relationship and regrets doing so. |
