Christians used this song to create their own. I grew up singing it. It goes, "Isn't it grand to be a christian isn't it grand? Isn't it grand to be a christian isn't it grand? Isn't it grand to be a christian Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday all day Sunday isn't it grand?"---I think it's funny that they stole it from such a secular song. DBEN is correct. I actually dated Susanne in LA for a couple of months, and then I moved. She is a very wonderful person. She was an actress/waitress at the time. She worked as a PA for Guns n Roses and Weezer, when Weezer was first starting. Hence, the izzy slash and axl rose lyrics. She did indeed make them brownies and she gave him a coat. She said he was very nervous and anxious about everything. Playing in little places with hardly any audiences starting out. And by the way, she's very pretty, in a natural way. A smile to melt your heart. Cat person too. Having dated her is the coolest claim to fame I have! |
