I don't think that they are all about a break-up actually. There often times is more meaning to songs than just what is on the surface.. Then again, the great thing about music is that it can and is interpreted differently by everyone who hears it. But, I think for this band, it requires a little more than surface digging. |

Honestly, I think he is referring to God and his walk with faith in this song. That's how I take it, but that's the great thing about music, it can be taken so many ways. Great song either way. |

I kinda take this as a betrayal of some kind. Whether it be family or friend, we all get betrayed and hurt in our lives. The chorus I take as him speaking to a close friend/family member of his emotions due to the betrayal. Where he's asking if he's a terrible man, than admitting that he is indeed a terrible man, I think is saying how he gave in to his emotions. Anger, hurt, sadness, all negative emotions, making one a negative person. That's just my interpretation of it.. |

There was an interview with one of the guitarists of this band that said some of the members are christians, some aren't. But they aren't a "Christian" band. |

I feel like it's about marriage almost. "In sickness, health, and possible death." Those are wedding vows. If you don't try to make your marriage work, it will fail. You're going to argue, but if you don't try to work it our, it will fail. You'll lose interest in your partner, and things fall apart. That's what I feel. |

I think it's a continuation of the story. The man is feeling so angry at his wife for cheating, and he knows the man she had the affair with wont leave her, and wishes they all would die. But he knows other people go through with it and deal. He's trying to cope. |

I think it's definitely calling someone out on living a life on the fence. They have one foot in the world, and another in the church. God's word is clear, "A house divided against itself can't stand." Make the choice on who you're going to serve, God, or yourself? |
