Well anyway, this song sets a wonderful scene for the album. I always picture a spirit being laid into the cells forming a newborn in the womb and a fierce battle between life and death as to whether or not it makes it. Life obviously triumphs in the end seeing as the monitor can be heard detecting a heart beat, but it seems like life only JUST made it. Then the whole album is about someones life in general and the last song is like the reversal of this one concluding this persons life and maybe them stepping in to the light or something dramatic |

| Another incredible song. I love the part when the music starts climbing. I can just picture Max slowly being handed the truthogen and every step of the climb he makes a new move until he's taken it. Then the music goes from slow to fast to like.. rapid, and I picture him thinking like everything is going slow but he's doing everything really fast and before he realises it, he's in his car ready for the aftermath of the drug. | |

Such an amazing song. Although it's fairly obvious that "Max" has crashed his car in to the water it can be interpreted as feeling helpless and giving your all to get a message across to people who don't seem to want to hear it. I think the first verse could be about feeling like he's being heard and he can't believe that people are actually listening. His window of opportunity is open and people are rushing in to hear what he has to say, and he can't believe it's happening. And then people start ignoring him... The chorus is his window of opportunity caving in and he's trying to call out hoping someone will hear him. Second verse is him trying to think back to where it went wrong, but it's pointless and he ends up at a loss. He gets delusional in his thinking in the end winds up with nothing but himself and his message. "Peace be the day dawning" is obviously him begging for the new day to bring him some sort of resolve, "Light of the winter I am falling" ...have no idea with that one... |
