I'm thinking this song is about giving a second shot at love with someone, most likely an ex. "Do you believe in hallucinations? Silly dreams or imagination?" He never thought he would have the opportunity to be with her again, and everything is so perfect, that he feels like he must be hallucinating or dreaming. "Don't go away cause I feel you this time, don't go away cause I need you here this time." I guess that's kind of self-explanatory. This time around, he needs her and wants her. Maybe the first time around he wasn't so sure about his love for her and they broke up and now he realizes he loves her and needs her. That's just how I see it. haha. I'm probably wrong though, Tom's songs always have a deeper meaning. |

| Yeah, I definitely agree with your interpretation of the song. It's a beautiful song, I think. The lyrics are incredible and I'm in the midst of getting through a break-up and as soon as I heard the song it just made me feel so much more uplifted. | |
