I hate that some of the people shot down others who said that "Adam" didn't kill himself at the end of the song just because of what Mark said. Of course, that's the true meaning, but aren't songs supposed to leave the interpretation up to the listener? Apparently not...
Personally, I do think that he realized there was a light at the end of the tunnel and backed out. It's a great song to listen to when you're down. |

I hate to be a complete buzzkill, but neither Rachael Scott or Cassie Bernall were asked the question. Rachael was killed outside the library, and no eyewitnesses heard anything being said. In the Library, Cassie was killed by Harris after he said "Peek-a-boo".
Valeen Schnurr is the person who had the "Do you believe in God?" question asked. She confirmed it, and numerous eyewitnesses did as well.
