NOFX – Franco Un-American Lyrics 15 years ago
You may be partially right with that jibo, however, I think Franco fits in the sense that, when the re-energized patriotism kick hit here, the French were a society that Americans hated. I'm not lying when I say that some places started calling French fries, "Freedom fries". The rhyme pattern/sound of the word fits the song, but it also fits in implied meaning, because the French viewpoint was deemed Un-American.

Great song though.

NOFX – The Irrationality Of Rationality Lyrics 15 years ago
Anyone that thinks the last verse of this song doesn't fit doesn't understand the song. As others have said already, it's what MAKES the song. There are 3 examples. The first one is a rich business man who exploits everyone helping to pay his salary for the benefit of himself. The second is a typical, middle class guy who goes to work, does his job, collects his check, and doesn't ask questions. He does it to support himself and his family. The final verse is the woman who has constantly had life shit on her. She finally decides to prey on someone higher up the 'ladder' to support her own family. She's deemed 'crazy'. What's the difference? Murder is a bit extreme, I'll give you that, but take murder out of it, and look at it as robbery. Is what the woman in the 3rd verse did different than the one in the first? Would she not still be vilified?

The Spill Canvas – Good Graces, Bad Influence Lyrics 16 years ago
I seem to be in the minority so far, but I really don't care for this that much. Their evolution of sound is pushing me further and further away from the band. Ahh well I guess, I'll still buy their new album when it comes out and hopefully find a few songs on there I like. The ones on this EP, this one included, just really weren't doing it for me though.

Five for Fighting – Slice Lyrics 16 years ago
Love the song, but it's worth pointing out a correction to the lyrics. It's actually:

"No cell phones, just twenty FIVE CENT LINES" that being a reference to pay phones prior to the invention of cell phones.

Great song though, and great comments in regards to what it means.
