can we please change the lyrics to: "with an effortless smile, you've proven to be always in between aisles..." A. prevade is not a word B. if you meant pervade, it still doesn't make sense. thanks :D |

| Circa Survive – Through The Desert Alone Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| First line is the best part of the entire album. The rest of the album is NOTHING like On Letting Go or Juturna, which is a little disappointing because the first two albums were spot on. | |
| Circa Survive – Your Friends Are Gone Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| solid Nietzche quote. | |
| Circa Survive – Imaginary Enemy Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I'm a little worried about Blue Sky Noise. I really liked Juturna and On Letting Go, but Get Out and Imaginary Enemy just aren't doing it for me. High hopes though. | |

add one more vote for writer's block. i think AG wanted such a lyrically perfect song that he "locked himself up in a room" in order to concentrate, but found that he couldn't. so he GOT OUT into the daylight and was more inspired to complete his lyrics. can't wait to hear what else he thought up. anyone got any insight/ideas on: "I've yet to translate any meaning besides It's not worth it to try" |

| Circa Survive – Suspending Disbelief Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I think this is an argument against death bed conversions. I think AG has a problem with non-religous people living their lives and then when they are "on their way out", they pledge undying allegiance and subordination to a god. The fear people feel when they are close to their death (or some other difficult time) leads them to forget their own beliefs (or lack thereof), and choose to believe something that will give them closure or hope. Cowardly, IMO. see: there are no atheists in foxholes. |

| Carrie Underwood – All-American Girl Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| girls, cmon. this song sends a terrible message. it advocates a 16 year old girl being knocked up by a 17 year old boy, which makes him lose his full ride scholarship to college. how is this a good thing? stop hearing the song and start LISTENING to the song. what is this anti-intellectualism that runs rampant in our society? this is bad for us. it really is. | |
