yeah this is identical to my relationship right now. I dated a girl for 2 years, spent every day all day together, she was my best friend. Everything i did was with her, and then when she ended it it's like my world was over. Every girl i tried dating after that didn't even spark my interest. Then I met my current girlfriend :) I fell for that girl harder than I fell for the one ex :) i'm competely 'lost' in her right now, after everything i've been through. That's why I can relate to this song so well. I might be wrong on the 'actual' meaning of the lyrics, but that's what they mean to me :). |

In my opinion, i believe this song is kinda about a break up. Not a break up in general but the feelings after you lose someone you truly love. The pain people go through, the mental problems, ect. "don't put your life in someone's hands, they're bound to steal it away" Don't give someone you're entire life. I believe you shouldn't ( well maybe if you're married ) but if you give someone EVERYTHING you have, when you break up, you lose everything you gave them. "if you want to get out alive, run for your life" If you want to get past the pain and get over the break up, you gotta run for your life. I believe this is 100% true. I just got over my ex of 2 years, it took me probably 8 months to do so. I tried everything possible and nothing worked. You do truly have to run for your life in that circumstance. This song actually means something different in my eyes. In my opinion this song is about a hard breakup between two people. "You tried to lie and say I was everything I remember when I said Im nothing without you Im nothing without you" - Talking about how when they were dating, they were completely in love. Hence the "say i was everything, i remember when I said i'm nothing without you" but then here's the kicker, it goes into this. Somehow I found a way to get lost in you Let me inside let me get close to you Change your mind Ill get lost if you want me to Somehow I found a way to get lost in you I actually think this means he found another girl. He went through a lot of pain, lost the person he competely loved, thought his world was over. And then someone new came into his life. After all the shit he went through "somehow i found a way to get lost in you, let me inside let me get close to you" the only reason i think this is because this is exactly what's going on in my life. I had a terrible break up with my ex girlfriend, 2 year relationship. I went through total hell trying to get over her and i never thought i'd find anyone, and then a girl randomly showed up in my life and I got 'lost in her' reply please :) i want your opinions. |
