For me it looks like this song about drug addiction there are too many thing that pointing to this area. The funny thing that the most positive line : "The best time of life" could be just getting of another dose of the drugs which is actually rather nasty thing. Anyway quite unusual lyrics for this band, and that's generally the reason i write this comment :) |

Strange, that no one has commented on this one. It's such a strange piece actually, even though the words in lyrics are seemingly disconnected, at the same time they are telling us a lot more than we could say, using normal and logical sentences. I guess it's more like song - reflection of current state of the writer, without any logic or composure. |

I guess it's definite that this song about some ship crash, also someone in last.fm mention that this is about that thing because of mentioning name "empress" in lyrics:
