Before the mumbling, you can hear a faint recording of them playing the end of the song, singing the "headboard" lines. After that is the start of the mumbling, where all I can decipher is: "And so this one ... sure enough ... he just threw them (?)". Not sure about that last bit either. Would be very interested if anyone's discovered what he's actually saying here. |

I've never come across a lyric that throws me so much as being able to go either way. For years I've always heard the last two lines as: "She said it's the right wildest time But that is no excuse" Now I listen to it I can hear "red wine", but I can still hear "right wildest" as well. :/ |

I know "Sine waves and mirrors" is a definite correction needed, not sure about the others. Also; possibly "Try mouthing bitter tones"? I'm not sure. Brilliant song anyway. |
