I agree with rebelwithalostcause. It's very end of the world-ish, as if they are just waiting for the bomb to drop and living their last moments together. He says, "And when we stand there Together not scared I'll dry your last tear And then we're just air" Meaning they will disintegrate into air when the explosion/radiation/etc. hits them. But its also about his last moments on earth and being with her. so its a mix of both. Except sex lol |
