I took a slightly different take on the song. I see it as two people who were not in a serious relationship to begin with, but the singer falls in love, despite not wanting to. They go through a lot together, but the other person loves someone else and leaves. After it's over, the singer sees that the relationship wasn't necessarily good, but he misses it. |
