| Daughtry – Life After You Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I think some of us get to the point in our lives where we realize what's most important in this life and who you really want to spend your time with. I love the lyrics to this song because he just wants to be happy and has decided there's that one person who makes him happiest. I love the line "You and I, right or wrong", meaning it doesn't matter if it's the perfect situation or there are issues with the relationship, having that person to laugh with, grow old with, and love forever is worth any struggle that may come along. Plus Chris Daughtry is really hot, how can you not love him and his music? LOL |

I believe the meaning of these lyrics are only truly known to the person who wrote them. Only he really knows what he meant when he wrote them, but like all good love songs you can pull something out that you can relate to. I think the lyrics are a little difficult and confusing, but I guess that's the point. It seems their relationship is difficult and confusing, but uniquely theirs and they still deeply care for each other through it all. My favorite line is "I can't ever tell you're the deepest well I've ever fallen into". I like what "rainoverme" wrote. My thoughts on this song were similar. I wonder when "he" will tell the other how he really feels and stop being afraid of the "what if". That's my female two cents! :) |
