The original title of this song was one of the lines in the song: "Alphadog and Omegalomaniac". The words ALPHA and OMEGA refer to the line in the 'Book of Revelation' (the last book of the New Testament) "I am the alpha and omega." Alpha and omega are also the "first and the last" (very similar to the lines in the song bridge) letters of the Greek alphabet.
