| Blind Guardian – Traveler In Time Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Definately about Paul Atriedies inner conflict in Dune, the first book specifically. He frequently talks about his prescient vision and seeing the Jihad in front of him, and always trying to avoid it until near the end, when he finally embraces it on his terms. | |
| Blind Guardian – The Quest For Tanelorn Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| no, because there's about a score of books in the Eternal Champion saga with all of the characters searching for Tanelorn at some point. I'm not sure about which incarnation of the eternal champion it is, so it can't have ruined that one book any more than the song itself does. | |
| Blind Guardian – Harvest Of Sorrow Lyrics | 16 years ago |

As mentioned before, the song above gives the story of Turin Turinbar from the Silmarillion. The 'she' referred to is his sister, Nienor Nieniel, who he also marries. He does not realize she is related to him when he finds her alone and without her memory in the forest one autumn, which is why he marries her. She had lost her memory because of a dragon's spell. When she regains her memory, Turin is laying passed out from the dragon's poison (same as the one who took her memory) the spell is broken, she realizes what she has done and throws herself into a waterfall. (Seal of oblivion is broken, and a pure love's been turned into sin) The entire song is given from Turin's perspective, reflecting on what he has learned to be the truth before he falls on his own sword and commits suicide. |
