i love everything about this song. is it possible that the boy is also in a relationship (hence the guilt and self loathing) and not even an eligible bachelor (not a bachelor at all)? maybe i'm just interpreting according to my situation :( i don't get the bit about the other guy "loving her like a sister" yet still wants to make lover to her. f"$%ing freak. maybe that's why he's an asshole. |

| i read on another site somewhere that he wrote this song about the time he lost his son momentarily when he was at an international railway station in paris (i think). makes sense, but i think it's also a cool love song. | |
