i LOVE this song. It's one of whites best songs ever!
I think that the raconteurs has been good in this song. the text is perfect. it makes sense in every way. should it be a love song? should it be about drugs? or if it was about his little daughter? there are several ways to see the point!
I think i would choose to see it as though it were his daughter, because she is his own flesh and blood(all these thing, they are truly nice, they aint nothing.. aint nothing compared to the blood there's running through your 'little' blue veins), and she may means everything for him. genius if the song had been written for her?? :)the ra |
