i like how, yeh the sortve theme of the whole album very much revolves around a pressure or a variety of forms of pressure, yet the sound often consists of very vast sounding spaces and exaggerated environments. this seeeems really sortve, as if its perceived from the context of being confined, a realisation only reached i think during this song. this i think is cos it perhaps has a more subtle method of delivery than wills dissolve, which has a heightened sense of melody n general delivery, syndic calls travels with a really keen sense of pace and travel, exposing itself after much longer than will dissolve for me. super important to mention in terms of the album cos altered course provides a sortve next step or a sanctuary to dwell in after this song n before grand finale. so this song reeeeeeally kindve hits hard cos it allows so much meditation n reflection for us whilst providing plenty to think about if ur travellin at a different pace, a really unusual ability specially for such an already unusual albumm.
but yeh definately kindve constucts its identity outve the imagery n sounds interpreted from other panopticon songs to really immerse us to the heart of the album, allowing a definate highlight of the album. |
