The guy is not necessarily a drug dealer and especially no pimp. He is just your average idiot who drives around all day simply because he has nothing else to do, b/c he has no job b/c his woman is the one doing the working. And this idiot drives around with his girl/kids in the backseat blasting the crap swear infested gangsta rap. I see this idiot everyday of my life. And I always feel so sorry for those kids sitting in the back seat with the shi*ty distorted bass blasing away at their little eardrums. Daddys and Mommies is just a plural because this is not one guy this is thousands of guys doing this and their stories and their lazy lives are all the same. |

I think it is about Spawn. It is not a metaphorical song, it is a song directly about somebody. Somebody who used to be great, somebody who had to bail, somebody who like to dip outside the bar to the car to blow a line or two. Somebody who had to bail because they didn't feel like this thing was going somewhere and had other responsibilities. Other than that is it one of the best tracks on WLGYLPTSG! |
