Originally written with different words about one nights stands and was called 'Just Stay'. The record company (EastWest) didn't allow this so Ginger re-wrote the words about how East West have been shit to the band. They didn't even notice the new meaning, even with the words 'It's just different words in the same old fucking song'! |

I can see all of your points about Judas and they make alot of sense, and are most probably right.
However, I heard alot of stuff about the war in the song.
"Invoke the siren's song and sign the death warrant" and "This is what has been wrought for 30 pieces of silver" to me meant, giv ehte public ear candy about WMD's and then send the soldiers to die so you can make some money out of it.
I'm not sure about my own standing on the war, but this is definately how Lamb of God feel. |
