Flyleaf – Much Like Falling Lyrics 15 years ago
This sog could be about wanting to kill yourself, then not, because you told someone and they tried to persuade you not to. But you got unhappier and unhappier as time went on (it feels so much like falling/dying while I wait to die), feeling like life sucks and you want to get out of it. So then, one day, you just do it. Let go of your support and try (you grip my wrist/ i let go)
Then the last chorus is about wondering where you will go. heaven or hell. Or maybe, you didn't kill yourself after all, you just "let go' of all your pain and suffering and tried to be better, and the last chorus refers to wondering what will happen when you die.
I know that Flyleaf is a Christian band, and this song probably refers to Lacey's depression, but still, I wish that people could analyze these songs from a secular point of view. Look through a different mirror. Hmmm.

I am in awe and in shock
I'm in love and given away
I'm reserved with these words

So she was just proposed to.
She's in love w/ her fiancee, and oo, she'll be his and only his. she was given away to him
By saying yes, it's like she's been reserved and can now marry only him.

Flyleaf – So I Thought Lyrics 16 years ago
Lacey herself said that this song is about Domestic Violence.... But I can't see it. Maybe a year ago or whatever, her bf beat her and then her love for him faded. IDK.

Flobots – There's A War Going On For Your Mind Lyrics 16 years ago
"Pay no attention to the man behind the barbed curtain."
I love that. This is a reference to The Wizard of Oz, there the wizardof oz is discovered to be a fraud and says “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.”
You know.
Anyways, I think that what the Flobots mean by this is that the polititians mentioned above (Professional wrestlers and vice presidents want you to believe them) are constantly lying to you and, when found out, they deny and tell the general public to ignore the faults and lies, etc. And remember all of that stuff about Guantanamo Bay? The torture stuff? I think that is an example of what the Flobots mean by saying “Pay no attention to the man behind the barbed curtain.” Barbed curtain, like jail fences. Now I’m getting mixed up, because I’m only 12 too, but this song is incredibly deep and that was just an analysis of that one line.
