Jarrod Gorbel – A Moment Of Peace Lyrics 16 years ago
I think it's: "And the pale blue worn-through made a fine silhouette"
because I think he's refering to either a night gown or something similar where he can see through it to "her composition" below. That entire stanza is spent describing the woman in the song, IMO.

The Honorary Title – The Smoking Pose Lyrics 16 years ago
I think when listening to these lyrics, one can tie many of the
descriptive phrases could be a reference to smoking weed/being stoned.

"eyes ablaze", "sleeping but awake"
"chin down to you chest", maybe as if taking a bong rip or
just being really relaxed.
"Your eyes were just blatant hints at your elevation"
"singe your throat" "beneath the smoke"

But I think without the title as a clue, the song could be interpreted as
describing a scored relationship, perhaps a self-destructive but very
intense one.

Being stoned or high isn't like this for everyone though, this is just
relecting his personal experience with it at that moment in his life,
in my opinion.
