I love this song, but the ending! Man, it's so unbearably cheesy! But, I guess it is a 60's song. haha. "Darling... bomp, bomp, bomp, bomp, bomp, bomp, bomp. Yeah, I always thought it sounded like she said "it isn't true about your father" but that doesn't really fit at all in the context of the verse. But I don't know, I guess we never will know. About the meaning, I'm apt to agree with fetustree, since she says, "Just want to be by your side" Great song though! It's so haunting! I love listening to this cd while driving at night. |
