Yes, a very accurate commentary on the two types of people when it comes to "love". But the lines that interest me most are: Fate doesn't hang on a wrong or right choice Fortune depends on the tone of your voice Besides being humorous, it might have a deeper meaning. I think it's saying that success depends on what you want to achieve. Do you consider meaningless sex/relationships successful? Or do you think there should be something more? |

I can't quite decide with this song. It does seem to be about kids growing up too fast, but the verse: Close your eyes close your ears young man You've seen and heard all an old man can Spread the facts on the floor like a fan throw away the ones that make you feel bad Seems kinda sarcastic to me. People trying to censor the world for their kids, acting like they'll never grow up. "throw away the ones that make you feel bad", just trying to convince kids that bad things don't happen in real life. The rest of the song seems to be serious, but that verse just seemed weird to me. |
